What this covers

Mining operations support is contract execution of the production cycle. We take defined scopes on your site, resource them with equipment and trained crews, and run them to the production and safety targets set in the contract.

Scopes can be taken singly, or bundled where combining them removes an interface and a cost. A client running us on load and haul as well as crusher feeding is not managing the handover between the two. We are.

Scope of work

• Production drilling. Drilling programmes executed to design, with the fleet sized to the rate the schedule requires.
• Blasting. Blast design, charging and firing under controlled procedure.
• Loading and hauling. Excavation and haulage of ore and waste to designated destinations.
• Crusher feeding. Sustained, rate-matched feed to hold the plant at design throughput.
• Bulk earth movement. Cutbacks, waste dumps, haul road construction and site earthworks.

How we run it

Every scope starts with a resourcing plan: fleet, crew, shift pattern, and the production rate that combination delivers. You see the plan before we mobilise, and we report against it for the life of the contract.

Supervision comes from people who have held mine management and operations roles rather than from career contract administrators. Our Head of Operations spent over 25 years in the industry, including Operations Manager and Project Manager roles at African Mining Services, and holds a Mining Manager Certificate from the University of Mines and Technology. Our board includes a former New Business Manager at Redpath Africa Mining Services with a civil and mining engineering background.
